Day 3 Post Op

I am feeling really good considering I just had surgery on Friday.

I am no longer on any pain meds even though my pain level is a 3 on a scale of 1-10.

I am up walking and sip sip sipping my water and protein shakes.

I am in good spirits and surprisingly my energy level is high.

I am actually getting ready to get in the shower to get ready to go to a focus study.

Nothing like free money.

I will get $75.00 for an hour of my time.

I am so grateful for all of the love and support you have all given me.

It means a lot to me to have so many people rally around me and be there for me.

I am glad that I am now past my surgery and on to recovering and reaching my goals.

I am following all of my doctors post op guidelines and am making sure to sip sip sip and walk walk walk.

I hope you all have an absolutely fabulous day.

So glad to hear you are doing so well...When were you actually released from the hospital? I tried calling your cell but couldn't get through...I didn't want to disturb you while you were in the hospital...

I would love to talk to you and will try calling again...So glad your on the other side....this is the fun part really it is!

I have no time to lay around.

I am taking it easy though while following the rules.

I cannot stand to be couped up very well.

I am resting, sipping, walking, and following my surgeon's guidelines, but I have to stay me.

I only have one issue at the time and that is gas.

I know that is expected, but it is killing me.

I know it is because they pumped me with gas during surgery and they had my abdomen open and gas got in there so that is why I feel so bloated, but I cannot wait for it to vacate.

I went and bought some Gas-X so we shall see if it works.

You are an inspiration to me.

You are my hero!!

Wow, you are amazing Teena . . . BUT you should take it easy!  Make sure you listen to your body when it needs to rest.

I'm like you too in that even when I'm sick or healing from something I can't just lay back cause I've got things to do .  Truth is we really extend our healing  when we try keeping up with our active minds.  OMG Teena you have that incision.  I hope you have good people around to help you.
