I Am Back Home

I just wanted to update you all and let you know that I appreciated all the phone calls and emails of support.

I came home today at 4 pm.

My pain level at this time is a 5 on a scale from 1-10.

I am taking liquid  Loritab.

I am in bed resting making sure I get up every hour and walk around in my apt as well as sip sip sip water and crystal light.

I will detail my journey later on when I can sit up for longer periods of time.

Once again I wanted to thank you all for the love and support that you have sent my way.

They might need to give you something stronger to get the pain under contol.  I don't think the lortab does that. For me, it keeps is under control if it hasn't gotten too bad to start with.  Don't suffer! call them and ask!  Then take the lortab on time for a week or so, even if you think you dont need it. This is from my experience LOL, not any expert here at all.  Just hate to hear you are in so much pain when they can easily do something to help you!

Thanks for the post.

My pain is now a 3.

I actually have stopped taking my pain meds.

I did not want to get all constipated so I stopped taking them.

The pain is tolerable.

I am walking around the apartment and making sure I sip sip sip.

All is well.

I have more energy than I thought I would.

I am glad that I am not all sleepy and drugged up anymore.

I will take it easy and enjoy my recovery process.

I hope you are doing better as well with your wound issue.

Hang in there girlie it will all be over with soon.

So HAPPY to hear that you are home recovering now. You can't possibly "pull a Teena for Week"... as you'll be redesigning her for a lifetime now :-).   Wishing you a speedient recovery. This website just hasn't been the same without all your posts.... looking forward to your updates. Rest and get well .

Yeah everyone has told me that I can't pull a Teena for a week so I am trying my best to be really really good.

LMAO.

I like the way you stated that I will be redesigning me for a lifetime now.

I never thought of it that way, but you are so right.

It is really hard for me to lay around and do nothing.

Just wanted to wish you well and tell you that your attitude has been an inspiration to me as I struggle with many complications since my May RNY. I will also need extensive revisions and have spent many, many days in and out of the hopital....following your journey. I only hope that I can handle my challenges with as much grace and strength as you have.

I am feeling better already.

 I have stopped taking my pain meds as I do not want to get constipated as pain meds do that to me.

I am in great spirits and state of mind.
