Guess who's approved?!

I got approved for my revision!   whoooooo hoooooo.
I go to see the doctor on Tuesday, he will decide if he will remove my band at the same time or prior to the rny.

For those interested, I have GHI BC/BC NYC and got an answer in one week.

I have BCBS and would like to have my lap band revised to a sleeve. Did you have to meet a weight requirement to get approved? I am close to goal weight, I have a bulge above the band and had the fluid removed to hopefully, let the bulge go down. Info is appreciated.

I do ave a BMI just below the required BMI to qualify for bypass, however I have high cholesterol, which is considered a co-morbidity and allows for a lower BMI. I was just shocked as to how fast I got the answer. Good luck to you

im so happy for you i on the other hand have been denied a revisiob. my bmi is 24 but i vomit daily and have major issues.i have been hospitalized twi]ce in the last month because i was dehydrated.
