 It can vary to what their preferences are, what they are comfortable with and what they have experience in.  You may have to check around your area and find out.  Remember that doctors are very prone to pushing the procedure they are the most comfortable with, hence naysaying anything they are not....

 Stomaphyx doesn't work.  Look into the ROSE procedure or Lapband over the bypass.
