Revision to RNY tomorrow

I am having surgery tomorrow at 10;30 am.
Going from lap band to RNY.
I only lost 30 lbs with the band  I know now it was the wrong choice. for me
I am a sweet eater I don't eat huge amounts of food.
I was too scared to have the RNY 4 years ago.
I am just terrified that I might fail at this one too.
Anyone out there gone from band to RNY and had more success?

I am going from lap ban to RNY on Aug 31.  Like you I was too frightened of the RNY but should have done that from day 1.  You will do great and I wish you a speedy recovery..... please keep me posted.

I was scared of failing again too but not too scared to avoid my revision.  So far so good though I'm actually losing and never did with the band.  Good luck tomorrow and hope you have a speedy recovery, Nancy.

I had band to RNY on August 5th (almost a week ago). I felt the same way you do so I'm feelin' you girl.. We'll get through this together. I'll be praying for you!

I had a revision from the band to RNY two years ago. I am down to 104 pounds, a size zero. It's the best thing, bar none, I ever did.

Lapbands suck! I absolutely love my RNY!!!!!!!

I have my consultation next week about going from Lap Band to RNY. Did they do the removal of the band at the same time as the RNY? I am so anxious to have this done. Lap Band was the WRONG choice for me too! I have only lost about 30 lbs total and had the lap band place 5 years ago!
