SHELE HELP!!!

Shele,  I just want you to know I read everything you post on the forum.  I will be getting a distal RNY from Dr. Maguire on Aug. 17.  I thought that I was getting the DS until I went for my consultation yesterday.  I am right at 35 BMI with few co-morbidities.  He has agreed to give me 100 cc with 150 length of the Ail. limb.  That is a total of 250cc.  What is your common channel?  Can you share how you are doing and are you happy with the distal.  Dr. Maguire said he only does the distal now because he sees the same results with his patients.  I have to say, I am disappointed, but I still want the surgery.  Thank you for input.  It means a lot to me.  Oh yeah, the one thing I'm concerned with the distal is being able to eat meat.  How are you at consuming meat?  Thanks!
