Such A Wonderful Day

Hello all my gorgeous and handsome Obesity Help family.

I am hella excited as today at 3:00 pm I see Dr. Nick Nicholson to find out the date and time of my revision surgery (Lap RNY Gastric Bypass Proximal to Distal) and repair of my gastro gastric fistula.

Nothing can ruin my day today.

I hope you all are having an absolutely fabulous day.

Great news Teena!  All the best ... I too am awaiting a call for my date to do a revision from lapband to RNY.  I can relate to how you feel.  Keep me posted.

Thank you and I wish you well regarding your revision.

I did not get a date yet due to my high blood pressure.

I have to go to my PCP today in order to try to get it under control.

My surgeon wants a release letter from her saying it is ok for me to have surgery and then I will get a surgery date.

I am hella angry, but I have to do what I have to do so I do not have a stroke while under.

I guess you are disappointed about not getting your date but as fast as we want to have this surgery and get it over with, it is not worth compromising our health.  If they want your BP under control it is in your best interest.  I'm sure your pcp will be able to do that in a few weeks with meds.  Hang in there... when it's the right time it will happen. 

I did get my date today at long last.. 3 weeks from tomorrow... August 28th!

I got my date today and it is Sept 2nd.

We will be going through this together in a way.

Majorily cool.

My meds that I got yesterday are actually working because my blood pressure is now normal.

Yes we are both getting revisions within a few days.  I am starting to get really really nervous now but I know i have great surgeons and I am putting my trust in them.  So much to do between now an then the 3 weeks will pass so fast.  Have a great weekend and all the best of luck to you.

I am not really getting nervous per say, but I am just ready.

I was wondering if you knew if you would be coming home with a drain.

I know I will be.

I have experiences with the drain so  I am fully aware of how they work and how to empty them, but I was just wondering if you would have one.

I like you trust my doctor as well so I am in great hands.
