Revision from LapBand to GB

I'm in the same boat as the rest of you. I can't believe how many of us have developed reflux due to the band. I have 3.3 in my 4cc band and I don't even have to chew my food well anymore. I can eat a 6 in sub from subway with no problem. I had great insurance 3 years ago that paid 100% of my lap-band but now my ins. has changed and I have NO wls coverage. I regret not getting the RNY first. I know so many people who had the RNY the same time I had my band and are down A LOT of weight and I'm still obese and depressed!

I too, am with the rest of you with problems with my band and very poor weight loss.  It's amazing there are so many of us out there...doesnt say too much for the band does it?  
I'm now scheduled for a revision to RNY on 9/8.   Wish i had done it 2 years ago, instead of dealing with this fickle band.  Best of luck to ALL of us....
