What a difference a month makes!

What's scary to me is cutting out part of the anatomy and then also not being able to tighten things up if the pouch were to stretch. I am having such issues with pain and the port plus slow loss, I'm certainly not ruling it out!! Please keep us posted with your progress.

Slow loss is expected with the band and especially in the beginning until great restriction is achieved.  Pain is NOT acceptable though.  Removing a portion of my stomach is fine for me.  It's not a new surgery. This is just new when it's applied for weight loss.  People have had this done for a long time for stomach cancer.  My stomach is just smaller.  I feel NORMAL again!  I never have food stuck anymore!!!!!  No need to barf!

Sounds really good to me about now!! No getting stuck, no slime, no port pain, I can't imagine. I plan to get a second opinion since my surgeon isn't giving me much satisfaction. I can't wait to see how you do with your VSG!!
