A great Dr. just lives a state over, Kentucky.... Dr. Husted depending on what type of revision your looking for...He specializes in RNY to DS revisions and is excellent in his field...Tons of experience and excellent references.

JR is right. If you're revising to a DS, Dr Husted is the closest to you, and is a very well-respected revision surgeon. In New Jersey is Dr Greenbaum, who is also excellent.

I would suggest you check out this Web site:

http://www.dsfacts.com/

You'll find lots of information on the DS ... including questions to ask your surgeon. I also invite you to join us on the DS forum board. There are several regular contributers that are RNY to DS revisions. They'll be a good resource for you. The baord welcomes revision questions ... and the members that make that board their home are very well versed and generous with their information.

Here's a post I bookmarked from a whle ago, which (in a most disorganized way - sorry!) gives information on surgeons who are and aren't performing revisions. Some of the information may be out of date, but Google will help you locate the surgeons' phone numbers, emails, etc.

The best of luck to you, Susie. Choosing a surgeon for your revision is important. Revisions are tricky.
