Band is out...will humana cover sleeve

Does anyone know if Humana will cover the sleeve?

Rumor has it that BC/BS at least in AZ will now cover the sleeve so it is somwhat likely others fill soon follow suit.

Hi there. I live in KY and Dr. Weiss gave me the band in Oct. 08, I hate it and he is doing RYN on  Monday. Humana is my insurance and they are paying for the surgery. They told me at Weiss's office that no insurance that have dealt with is paying for the sleeve because it is newer. Why did you remove your band? Thanks!

I had to remove my band becuse of esophaeal spasms. I really want to get a sleeve, I am afraid that I will end up with the same issues with another band and I am already to vitamin deficient to even think about an RNY.
