Submitted to Insurance- UHC Experiences

After several weeks my Dr. has finally faxed the pre-cert letter to United HealthCare Insurance. Anyone have any experience with UHC? How long does the reply usually take?

I have UHC, and just had a revision from the band to RNY.  I was approved in like 5 days.  My company has a part of UCH that is soley dedicated to our company, so I don't know if that makes a difference.  I've had them for 9 yrs, and they are always SUPER fast.  Good luck!

I have UHC too.
It is now a month since they received the approval letter.
I have not heard anything yet so frustrating.
