Hey everyone,

I just wanted to know if anyone out there knows a good surgeon who hates the lap-band as much as i do and is willing to yank that S*n of a B***ch out of me...

looking for someone in the greater phila area or bucks/montgomery county.

nope..no revision. surprising as it sounds i started weigh****chers and im gonna stick to that. its just hard to eat my points with the band always paining me. now my port hurts too. if i ever decide to revise itll be to DS tho....my bf has RNY and its not enough malabsorption for me...plus im getting tired of dieting....RNY + Lapband = DIET. booooo

thanks!!! i actually called and left a msg for his secretary or whoever she is...she gets back in on monday...i hope she calls me right back because im having port pain second day in a row. ouchy!

I just had my lap-band taken out on Tuesday. Lots of pain in my port area plus other issues. No revision -- don't think I could do anything else to my body after this bad expereince. I had a new doctor take out the band (since I moved from PA to TX).

hey!

yea thats what im gonna do...no more damage to my body..im gonna try to weigh****chers myself into a thinner body. lapband was the biggest mistake i ever made...live and learn i guess.

I had my revision from Dr. Meilahn at Temple University Hospital. I have been pleased with the care I have received there. I also know from chats in the waiting room that other doctors in the area refer to him for revisions/problems.
