REVISION APPROVED FINALLY!!!!!
Hi all....
What a journey it has been...I started over a year ago trying for a revision. I had my Orig RNY in 2004 topping the scale at 325. I lost approx 135 lbs. Then regained approx 50lbs Time passed, I jumped thru hoops and nothing other than an addittonal 30lb weight gain....I had the ROSE procedure done last June. And Nadda..I lost 25lbs and then almost as fast as I lost it, I gained it back.
Then about a month ago I started having a terrible terrible time. Every time I ate solids I would have a horrible pain. In time I couldn't even swallow the soilds, so I have been sticking with shakes. I contacted my Suregon who started the process to get the revision done, YET AGAIN....Then I woke up last Friday and I couldn't move. The pain in my tummy has been too much to bear. And on top of that I have been running to the bathroom every 5 mins. Well, Tuesday i finally crawled my way into his office again. He yelled at his staff for dropping the ball on my submission. Needless to say, Yesturday morning, exactly 24hrs after they submitted my paperwork to Aetna. I recieved my approval!!!!! I would be doing my happy dance if I didn't hurt so freakin bad.
Sorry I am rambling...Now....I am scheduled for July 1st for now...so i just have to endure the pain and tears for another 2 weeks and I'll be ok....

What is the cause of your pain?? Did your surgeon say?
