lap gallbladder surgery possible after TT and hernia repair?

I see my surgeon next week, and will ask her about this then of course, but I am curious as to whether anyone here has had laparoscopic surgery (in my case, it would be gallbladder removal) after having a TT and/or upper abdominal hernia repair with mesh.

Someone told me that there might be a problem with being able to insert enough gas into the abdomen to do lap galbladder removal... and after having three surgeries SINCE my RNY 2 years ago, I am concerned about my body's ability to handle another open surgery.
