What to expect after Endoscopy ?

What should I expect after my endoscopy ? My Dr. has sent me to nearly every part of the hospital but I am still in the dark as to what to expect next ? When will I know that my insurance co. has been contacted ? I guess I'm looking for a ball park time-line that leads up to a surgery date :) Thanks !

I just had my 3rd and final endoscopy last week with no help.  I was having mine done because I have scar tissue that is blocking my band and causing me to not eat/purge (dump) whatever I do eat. 

Prior to my endoscopy I had seen my surgeon who said if this didnt work then surgery was the next step.  The 3rd endoscopy didnt work and I made appointment to go back to my surgeon, I couldn't get in until the 23rd of July, but they called me and moved it up to the 15th.  And they are starting my paperwork to get approval from the insurance company so that when I see him on the 15th I can hopefully have my surgery date.

I had a VBG done in May of 2004 and am now going back to have a bypass done, as this is the only option my surgeon said he would recommend for me and my situation.
