I am really desperate. I do not feel like I can make the changes neccesary for long term weight loss with a gastric bypass. I really did not entirely know what I was getting into when I had RNY. If I had known better, If I had done better research I would ahve most definatly had a DS. No questions in my mind. I don't think I ma gooing to be succesful. I am a year and six months out, and have already gained back 13 LBS. I am also having severe reactive hypoglycemia. I don't want to have to wait unitll I am have gained 50, 100, 150 lbs to ahve a revision. Please does anyone know if they preform revisions under these ciur****tances?

What is your current weight at now?

I had an RNY in 2002, and I am looking to to having a revision from RNY to DS.
I got down to 151, and I am now back up at 228-235.

Doing a revision from RNY to DS is very complicated & I have only read that very few doctors are willing to take that on.
You might also want to post this on the DS board, it gets more traffic.

I had a lap-band put over my RNY.  I had originaly lost 115 lbs and gained back 40 before my revision last month.  I too did not want to wait any longer and I suddenly felt an urgency to fix it.  I totally know what you are feeling right now!

Good luck.
