Consaltation and seminar for revision

H i group, after doing some researach and getting such great feedback from everyone, I have a scheduled date  6-23-09 for a mini seminar and on the same day I will see the surgeon for a revison. I will have to drive to Pheonix from Tucson so I was able to get both appts. for the same day. I decided to go with Dr. Juarez At St. Lukes Medical Center, I have heard and read great things about him. I am looking to have a DS done had my RNY in 11-16-05 but I feel broken.  Keep your fingers crossed for me Heres the start of my second journey hopefully things go as smooth as it did for my RNY meaning insurance and all.

Hi Diane,
I don't know about Dr. Juarez, but I don't think there is a Dr. in Arizona that does an RNY to DS.  Dr. Schlesinger does extend the bypass to an Extended RNY procedure, which is highly malabsorptive.

If you want a DS you will probably have to go out of state.  Check on the DS board, they know all the Dr.'s.

Hi Deanne, Yes Dr. Juarez does do revisions he is at ST. Luke Medical Center in Pheonix I will learn more about him at my consiltation on the 23rd. will keep posted on my visit .

I will be seeking a revision to DS too, just keep focused and everything will work out.
