Enough fluids/calories after surgery to breastfeed???

I have a big question for anyone who was revised while they were still breastfeeding.  I'm wondering if I'm going to be able to get enough fluid and calories in to maintain a decent amount of breastmilk.  My daughter is 6 months old and I could easily wean her if I needed to, but I'd rather not.  I'm sure I'll be pumped full of fluid while I'm in the hospital, but not sure if I'll be able to get enough in the first couple weeks after I leave.  btw, going in to have a slip fixed but the doc might revise me to a sleeve instead.  I'll know what he did after surgery!

Have you peeked into the post-op pregnancy forum?
Here's the link:

I am sure that these ladies would have an idea.  (even if you find no one on the bard that has had a revision.... they have all had surgery..... )

Hope this helps!!!!

I guarantee you that if I post over there that they are going to tell me to go to this revision forum.  I've been banded for almost 3 years and had my second daughter in between so I've been over there with them plenty.  Yep, they've all had surgery, but they got pregnant after.  I'll see what I get from over there, but this forum was my best bet for someone already breastfeeding and then having a restrictive surgery.
