How long did it take before you heard from insurance

Hi,
All my paperwork was submitted last week for my revision from lap band to RNY.
I was just wondering if anyone can tell me how long it took before you knew if you where approved or denied.
I have united health care ppo.

Sometimes it can be as long as a month.....

Crossing my fingers it is ssoner than that for you.

I pretty much knew ahead of time that my insurance would cover my revision but after all my testing was done my surgeon's office imediately sent it to the ins. co. and it was a matter of days for me. Good luck to you Nancy.

Did you have to do the nutritional training again?

No, I don't have United, CDPHP.

I did have to go through the nut training again but it's changed since my lap band and since my daughter's RNY last May. But I need as much info as I can get. Good luck to you, Nancy.
