Did anyone "NOT" have a psych eval before revision?

Just wondering if everyone was required to have another one done before they had the revision done?

Highest weight- 262lbs
Lap band- Aug 2006 - 254lbs.
Lowest w/band 214lbs. .
Gained up to 271 due to the band
Got DS revision April 2010!! Current 145lbs
At 5'8 my goal was 160lbs but I surpassed that with the DS!!!!!!

Lap Band on 04/18/06

Nope I had a revision from an old VBG/87 to a lap-band in /06 and needed no psych eval. My surgeon met with me and we proceeded and I couldn't be happier now in my fourth year of my revision. (Mind you I was self pay too.)

I was not required to have a psych eval........the doctor could plainly see I was already mental. ha ha. I suppose it depends on ins, doc, etc.
