XPost-Dr. Keshishian RNY to Ds Revision
Anyone? Anyone?
Has anyone had or know of anyone who has had a revision with him?
I am looking into having a revision of RNY to DS with him.
I have family in California, so this would be a big help, with me coming from Alaska.
I know that my health is the most important. I understand this. I am just trying to gather information.

I believe you are in excellent hands, if you choose Dr. K...I checked into having Dr. Keshishian do my RNY to DS Revision as well as Dr. Husted and a few others....And, frankly Dr. Husted after I had already seen Dr. K referred me to him if I couldn't come to Kentucky as he felt he was one of the best at RNY to DS Revisions....Dr. K has done a study on the very subject and I'll bet if Stacy's Mom reads this thread she could forward the link to you at the drop of a hat...she is really great at finding that stuff...It is excellent reading for anyone going into RNY to DS Revision....makes you feel good about it too!
So if you go above and click on bariatric surgeons, click in the state of CA, scroll down until you see Dr. K's name then click on Central Valley Bariatric Surgery Center, then click on Dr.'s you will see Dr. K come up first...there you will find his stats, # of revisions, and tons and tons of patient reviews...
I'm from Bakersfield, Ca....I know the area well...He practices in both Delano, 25 minutes from Bakersfield and Verdugo Hills, CA close to Los Angeles....He was practicing in Henderson, NV outside of Las Vegas, but not anymore.

Oh, and KSWaters is having surgery with Dr. K this month an RNY to DS Revision, so look her up as well, she's been on these boards for a very long time searching the DS Revision...I'm sure she'll have tons of info on him as well...

I did PM Karen. All I have to say, in her shoes..... AHHHHHH!!!!! I would be SO NERVOUS, I would be pulling out my hair, and asking for some valium, just to keep me calm .

Lap-Band June 14, 2001. Dr. Rumbaut, Monterrey, Mexico.
Lap-Band removed after 7 years and converted to Sleeve Gastrectomy on July 7, 2008 by Dr. Roslin. I've had three happy healthy Lap-Band babies.... and one VSG baby. 5 years out from revision to VSG. Gained 55 pounds in past 5 months, now considering DS. :(

Now, I just hope my insurance covers it!!!! That is a work in progress......
Primary says NO WAY, and secondary, well, I just don't trust them!!!! So, we will see.
