Hi! Nope nothing wrong with the band at all, I just stopped losing. I still have bad knee pain and my BMI is 46. I have BCBS HMO of Mass. Did you try appealing it with your surgeons help?

When I went in to talk to the doc for the consultation, I was told that BCBS FEP does not cover it. That is why I'm going to have to pay. There is nothing wrong with my band either. I guess I was not strong enough to use it as a tool, since there is only restriction with the band. The VSG will be better because of the grhelin hormone taken out. I bet BCBS HMO of Mass is different from BCBS Federal Employee Program. I'm going to check into that,.....Thanks so much for your input. I wish you the very best success and new life for you.
