GREAT NEWS - WEIGHT LOSS POST RNY Revision Surgery

I researched all of my options for over a year, had 3 different consults with different surgeons, and finally made my decision to revise my original RNY.  They reshaped my pouch, made my stoma smaller, and my bypass longer.  So far I have been very successful.  I had my surgery on 4/8/09 and so far am down 27 lbs.  I guess everyone has their own path.

I'm sorry, I did not mean to sound disrespectful. You could've very well been an ERNY depending on the length of your bypass.

You're right, we all have our own path. RNY isn't a one for all surgery, just like the band, DS, etc. isn't either.
