Update on Medical Insurance

Under my policy it would literally cost more to get an 8 month supply of Meridia than it would to have the whole surgery. My nutritionist visits or pills were never covered (I had an RNY a few yrs ago), but the actual surgeon/aftercare stuff was.
But, once I have it "all figured out" I know it will be worth it!!!!

One suggestion... don't take their word for it. When you call the ins co you get the first line of people that don't always understand... well, what they are doing. ;o)
Make them back up everything they say with links to the on line version of your medical policy. Then you can verify with your own eyes what is factual and what is not.
They have that disclaimer on their phone lines for a reason. ;o)
