Question for Dr. Kemmeter's revisions???
For any of you that had a revision done by Dr. Kemmeter in Grand Rapids, MI -- did you have to meet with the Internist pre-op?
When I met with Dr. a couple of weeks ago for my consultation, he said he didn't think it was necessary for me to meet with the Internist, because I had already had WLS 2 years ago.
The pre-op coordinator is waiting to verify this issue with Dr. Kemmeter, before sending in all my paperwork to the insurance company - she said it's best to submit everything together. I guess I didn't realize that all of the pre-op appointments have to be approved along with the surgery - makes sense, I just didn't think about that.
I so want this surgery yesterday - I'm chompin at the bit. I don't mean to be a pain in the ass, but know that I am. I hope I don't irritate his staff with my inpatience!
