OK, thanks I've heard of rose and stomaphyx will look them up!  The lapband was a simple thing to grasp and now I have to use my brain!!

It is a choice, and no matter what anyone says, people are generally smart, if they can find their way around the internet, and can manage to get through the hoops for weight loss surgery, they are obviously not mentally challenged. I dispise posts suggesting, and at time downright SAYING that people are stupid.
I beleive anyone  can make intelligent informed choices about their own health.  I too, find those statements demeaning, and displaying a lack of respect for other human beings.
I wish the best on your surgery, and will follow your journey with interest. Welcome to the ERNY world!

 

Ok, Enough already!!!!!

I am not a "patient" advocate or a "paid" poster.  I get nothing but peace of mind helping others.  If you people don't like it, though S***!!!!! 

I like my surgeon and I like his support team and have met many wonderful new friends who are also patients of his.  I feel that I have done well, if you don't, I really don't care. 

OK, so today I have worn the target on my back again.    This is getting really old.  I posted my story the other day and had nothing to do with surgeon as you guys so blatantly like to point out who it is and I get shot at again for telling the truth.  I could care less what the negative posters really have to say, but it is my story and they don't have first hand knowledge of it because they don't live in my body.  Sure glad they don't.  Sorry, angry people.  Get a life.  If I could flush you all down the with the other crap, I surely would.

By the way, because of this crap today, I have decided to make my profile available to only my friends.  If stuff continues to show up here.  I will make it private.  I don't want to do that, but I will. 
If you have legitimate questions, please PM me, if you don't leave me alone.

I too could hide behind a fake name, etc. but that won't help anyone now, would it? 

I just think that some of these people definately work for someone else and are trying to discredit a very skilled surgeon.

 You have gone out of your way to be VERY insulting to equate ME with a pile of crap!   All I did was correct YOUR math according to the weight loss ticker that YOU put on YOUR profile.   Which you completely taken down now so no one else will see it  - so JUST WHO IS LYING HERE??  Sorry, if I EXPOSED that 13 lb imaginary increase in your weight loss - I like to deal in the truth, unlike some of you.

When you report vastly different experiences in different places, what do you expect?   We can all read.   Some of us are just better at assimilating the information that we are given and can "read between the lines"  and cut through, what did you call it?  Oh, yeah, CRAP !!!

SO WHAT THE OFFICE STAFF SAYS AND DOES, I DON'T KNOW AND I AM NOT A PART OF THAT, AND IT JUST GOES TO THE DEPTH'S SOME PEOPLE WILL GO TO CONTINUE TO STIR THE PILE OF CRAP.  IF I WAS THAT PERSON'S MUTUAL FRIEND OR ACQUAITANCE AS SOMEONE ELSE POSTED THIS, I WOULD DEFINATELY BE OFFENDED AS MUCH AS I AM APPALLED AT YOUR BLATANT DISREGARD FOR PEOPLE'S FEELINGS AND CHOICES AND PERSONAL INFORMATION.  AND YES, I TYPED THIS IN ALL CAPS ON PURPOSE.

 You did all of this because of "little ol' me" merely correcting a 13 lb math discrepancy?   I just found it interesting that your stated ticker which you updated REGULARLY said something different that what you were saying on the boards.  And, now you have taken it down so that no one else who is reading this presently can go and check for themselves.   

Touchy-touchy now ... you are sure making a BIG DEAL out of a 13 lb math discrepancy!  Finding a math error and correcting it is ATTACKING you?   Oh, I beg to differ.  I have never called you names (except liar, but the shoe apparently fits), yet you have accused me of pretending to be two different people and called me a "piece of flushable crap".  And, for what now?  For noticing a 13 lb discrepancy between what you say on the boards and what you said in your actual profile?   I think you need to calm down.   

What's all this talk about HIPAA - I only know what HIPAA is because you folks keep talking about it  and I googled it.   First someone thought I was the  mother of some doctor's wife.  Now you think I've gotten ahold of YOUR personal medical records and other peoples' as well???   What hallucinogenic drug are you on??  

ALL I KNOW ABOUT ANY OF YOU IS WHAT I HAVE READ YOU ALL POSTING ON THE INTERNET!    If you don't want people to read what you write, you shouldn't be writing it in the first place.    Wrap your little, what did you call it?  Oh, "pea brain skull" around THAT. 

my comment is on the stoma, I had the ROSE procedure done in May.   Part of a study (which made it free) but it wasn't sucessful.  We had posted for a while but everyone stopped seeing as it was a failure.  They went in down the espohugus and put in sutures in the pouch of my RNY  and sutures in the stoma.  At month three the EGD scope showed my pouched as streched back out, but my Stoma (the doc was shocked) has stayed small.  I am doing another EGD scope in may, but by some of the foods I eat I feel my Stoma is still small.  I am now looking into getting a band on my pouch.

I had a band over bypass in Dec and haven't regretted it ...yet.  The weight loss is amazingly slow, but I'm ok with that.  I want it to STAY off so I think I have a greater chance of that the slower I lose it.
