You are absolutely right THIS one time!  I got a fabulous deal!  I had my hernia repaired, my bowel issues taken care of, my face peeled AND a revision all under the same Gen. Anesthesia!  I had a fabulous surgeon and I didn't have to take my Christmas tree down myself that year cuz I was "recovering"!!!  LOL!  My boss at the time (NEVER has been Schlesinger) gave a discount for the face (halvsies) but......insurance takes care of those other medical issues.

Please don't insinuate that you know what lies within my personal medical files! 

 Are you starting THIS up again.   Your BOSS (Dr. Gitt) was ALSO Schlesinger's BOSS, so you BOTH worked for Dr. Gitt.   Maybe your surgeon didn't sign your paychecks, as you repeatedly have said, but he signed BOTH your and Schlesinger's paychecks - so I guess your surgeon was your co-worker.   You worked for the same parent company, even though you repeatedly said that you didn't.  
Maybe they are both FABULOUS surgeons as you say, but it doesn't negate the fact that you LIED about the details of your employment.   Don't make me put up links to all of your misleading posts here, please.   I have better things to do then correct your lies!

Joyce.. how many did you have to recruit to get your own life endangering surgery?  You know, the one you write of on OTHER boards where you discuss the massive weight loss, more weight loss than your body can tolerate, the stench your body produces to the point that you can no longer work in an enclosed office due to offending others and  you have to work out of your home, the vitamin and protein issues where you recently spend $300 with VitaLady to fix, yadda yadda yadda?  I could go on, should I?  Dr. Schlesinger rocks!  OMG, I soooo agree!

Funny, when we started posting this you SUDDENLY gained a few pounds!  You were totally unable to do this before we started posting but now that you are posting you sudddenly gained pounds and regained your health!

Isn't it funny how that works?  Make it public and your whole life changes! I am soooo very happy for you!

Isn't it FUNNY that you SUDDENLY diss lapbands when you were preaching lapband love all over lapbandcentral and bandsters, etc.!?  Things change with time for all of us it seems! 

As for "other" postings I have made on other boards.  They have been pasted on this board over and over and over.....sooooooo what?  They were written a YEAR AGO on a DS Problems site that specifically states "no chatter...just get to the point"!!!!  I'm not going to have 5 seconds with a specialist (DS Problem folks) and chat about the weather!  I posted honestly, with emotion and asking  the experts for specifrfic help!  I wouldn't ask a doctor information on shopping so I was writing in context with where I was!  You've worn that out!  And....let me point out again that the reason I posted on a "DS" problems site was because there isn't an ERNY problems site!!!!  I wonder what that means?

As for my current health and my current weight.  I am NOT an anonymous poster!  No dog picture representing me!!!  I attend at least EIGHT support groups in the Phoenix valley a month!I
'IF" I were fabricating my true size then I would certainly be busted by hundreds, now wouldn't I?  Why in the world would I have any reason to lie about my weight?  Gheesh!  I haven't done that since I was 278 and told the DMV that I weighed 200!!!

I post my post-op crap and I post my fixes so that others who may be walking in "my shoes" may find help for themselves.

As for "WHO" used to write my checks!  Are YOU kidding me?  I'm sure YOUR paycheck is signed by the same person as many people you don't  work with or even know as well!  I'm sure Gitt signs oodles of paychecks and who they go to is none of my business.  I ALWAYS said that I worked in the same building as Dr. Schlesinger and that he was MY surgeon.  Is that advertising?  Testimonials are DEFINITELY a form of advertising.  That's why O.H. encourages people to post them! 

I will continue to promote Dr. Schlesinger because he is a great surgeon.  If he ever pays me for it in any way then I'll be sure and update my profile for your benefit!!! 

And.....shame on O.H. for not stepping in and correcting accusations of "FREE" advertising.  Schlesinger's add used to appear on this very forum; exactly as Husted's add appears now!  Schlesinger was invited to post during that same time....which he did!  That my dear is PAID advertising.  Whether a parent company paid the bill or not is irrelevant to the fact that it was PAID for!!!

Your employer may want to know how you are attacking their patient's and their surgeon's on a public forum....bordering on HIPPA violations by saying crap like "we have mutual friends" who supposedly gave you all of my inside information.

How about meeting me sometime?  Let's bring a scale and find out who is really telling the truth?  Are YOU really as petite as you claim or is your puppy dog the only small one at your house?

BTW-  I work with hundreds of people on a daily basis and I DO work in an office as well as hospitals, churches, and my home!  The only thing truly stinky around here are the ridiculous posts that you and StacysMom continue to make! I personally smell as lovely as the flavor of the month from Bath and Body!

To all who are seeking a Revision:  I encourage you to post away on this forum.  Ignore the ridiculous!  Ignore the rude!  Ignore the attacks!  If you need some pep talk or some prayers then ask for it!  .....  though it is billed otherwise, there is absolutely NOTHING WRONG with cheerful, encouraging posts!  That's identified by the millions as SUPPORT!!!  This is NOT a tough love boot camp zone.....I"d venture to say we all get enough kicks in the pants on a daily basis that we don't need to LOG ON somewhere to receive more of the same!

You are in error, I have no idea what lapbandcentral is.  You'll have to provide a link for this one.

I was very pro band while being honest about my own experience.  I can provide a link that is well over a year old that outlines my problems completely.  I've never hidden the fact that I had band issues.  Thing is, I thought I was the only person with these issues.  I did not know band intolerance was common.  You see, Joyce, Inamed just came out with their latest stats this past summer.  I have been posting stats since they came out.  These are Inamed's first long term stats.

I thought band intolerance was rare, I wasn't going to scare noobs out of banding due to something rare.  When I discovered it is not rare it all then I did start posting stats and facts but unlike you I never changed my symptoms from board to board.

Your posts are most certainly NOT old as you claim.  You write of the horrors of your surgery type and your doctor on others boards and then here you make it sound like all is great.  A 17BMI is just peachy, right?  Unlike you I have told the truth on all the boards I post on.  Just a couple of weeks ago you were writing about your odor problems and how you cannot work in an enclosed office for fear of what you'll put your coworkers through.  On THIS board you sing praises for Dr. Schlesinger yet on private boards you explain that you question if he worries how he will look because of what he did to you.

I don't have to pick a stance, mine has been the same from day one.  You cannot say the same.

If you were posting honestly why were you hiding the fact that Schlesinger worked for Gitt?  You flat out explained to me that the reason you were know so much about Schlesinger is because he's down the hall from where you worked.  The real truth was that he was your coworker of sorts.  *I* am the one that brought that to light on the boards, not you.  AFTER I brought that one to light then suddenly you remembered Schlesinger worked for your boss of the year.  And by that I mean that annually you are working for someone else.  I guess it's whatever surgery type you need, you suddenly work for a doctor that does just the surgery you require.  Funny how that works.  Then you recruit people to go to your employer of the year.  Interesting trade off there.

Now through a mutual friend I am seeing just what is going on behind the scenes.

Of course you use your real name and photo for the boards, you recruit patients for your employer of the year so it pays to have people know who you are.  I don't do that, I don't recruit so my personal info is just that, personal.  Look at the boards, people are stupid to use real contact info.  They talk about cheating on their husbands, conning insurance co's, what they feel are personal failures, employment frustrations... only an idiot would be that honest about their personal lives while posting their contact info.  Only an idiot or someone recruiting patients in trade for surgery.  Right, Joyce?

You don't even know who my employer is!  My patients are not WLS patients and they don't post here.  Please, educate yourself on HIPAA.  (BTW, it's HIPAA, not HIPPA)  My employer doesn't give a rip what I post on a WLS board just like he doesn't give a rip what I post on car boards or religious boards.   A little projection here?

There are plenty of people on these very OH boards (as well as LBT and my doc's own board) who I have met in real time.  Shall I bring them over?  We have a Phoenix bandster lunch that we used to do on a regular basis.  I'm getting ready to set it up again.  We used to meet monthly.  There are about 60 people on the list, they don't all go to every lunch but I have met them all in real time.  Would you like for me to bring them over here?  It takes a catty woman to be jealous of another for being able to lose weight without smelling bad. 

So now you are claiming you have no odor problem?  Just a couple of weeks ago you had a serious odor problem and YOU explained that YOU cannot work in an office environment.  YOU wrote that you can deal with the odor problem for a couple of hours but not all day.  Now you are claiming otherwise?  Who is the dishonest one here, Joyce?

Nobody here has suggested that revision folks not post or that folks looking for info on revision not post.  The only thing that has been asked is that you and the cheer leading squad refrain from using a SUPPORT board for your own freebie advertising of a doctor that you appear to have a love/hate relationship.  Let him pay for his own advertising like the better docs.  Surely he can afford something other than paid posters, right?  No?

Here you go again  with your ramblings. Who ever coined the words Office advocate and he trades surgery for free promotions for surgery? Was it you in your previous posts ?  That's real funny. I don't know where you ever got this information (may be you work for Dr Gitt) but I never got free surgery at all. How do you know he can't afford to advertise. I think it is up to St Luke's in Tempe to promote their very new program. You see when he worked for Dr Gitt , Dr Gitt paid for all the advertising because he worked for him. You can post all you want because no one cares any more about what you say...

First you claimed that I worked for the hospital, now I work for Gitt.  I know that I do home health, that means I have three jobs.

Could you tell me if I make pretty good money working three jobs?  I was just wondering.

 Dawn, hate to burst your bubble, but the ONLY reason you have lost as much as you have is because you were never bypassed much  in the first place (that is what you said right after you were opened up for your revision!), so your "revision" is more like a virgin surgery.   Almost everyone else who had a 75 cm common channel made has lost UNDER 50 lbs at over 6 months out and has slowed down to a crawl.   For you, it is like you have having a VIRGIN RNY, even though you are a revision.  Those of us who were watching the ERNY'ers progress EXPECTED you to do better than the others.  

I would love to meet with others who have the same surgery I have!
Please let me know the when and where of the Oregon affair.
