ROSE procedure

Has anyone recently had the ROSE procedure done, and if so, can you provide any information about it? 

My cousin said she read that this procedure is non-invasive and wants to shed about 50 lbs of gain post RNY surgery done in 2006.

I have been unable to find any recent data or information.

I don't think there is any data on this yet, it still seems to be in an experimental stage. There havent been many long term rave reviews of it, so all I can suggest is checking out old posts on this forum.

Your cousin also has other options - pouch resizing, stoma resizing, shortening the common channel, band over RNY and DS, and she might want to research these rather than something that hasnt been proven yet.

I worked in one of the centers where it was trialed and did not see any significant results at all. Was not very impressed with it.
