I'm in Calgary too. Had my lapband in Mexico in May '07 and am going to get revision to sleeve as soon as I have the money. I lost only 40 lbs in the first 4 or 5 months but have gained 10 back so sitting at a 30 lb loss. I am so dissapointed with the lapband as I was self-pay. Since VSG isn't available here I will be going back to Mexico to either Dr. Aceves or Dr. Alvarez, hopefully by summer.
