ANyone have revision from band to bypass?

I am so excited to hear of your success with the bypass after being banded. What type of complications were you having from the band? I feel that it is my nemesis. I am having revision from band to RNY on Feb 9th!

I'm so happy you're going to be able to have a revision. I had terrible complications from the band. 2 slips, erosion through the stomach wall, had to get my teeth capped because they blackened from vomiting. You name it. I absolutely hate lapbands.

I am almost 6 months post op from lap band to RNY and I am very happy I made this decision. I hated my band. It didnt work for me and I couldnt work it either. Had lots of reflux and pain. and other issues.

I hate my band too and am glad to see that you are happy with RNY! My revision is scheduled for Feb 9th.
