Are you talking about the sleeve (vertical sleeve gastrectomy)? The way to revise that is to go for the full-on DS with a shortened common channel for more malabsorption.
Or are you talking about VBG (vertical banded gastroplasty) - stomach stapling? The VBG can be revised to an RNY (by surgically altering the intestines for more malabsorption) or you can get a lapband or it can be revised to the DS.
There are information links on the right side of the page on the revisions board which should answer all of your questions. I believe they were written by Dr. Husted in KY who does all the different revision surgeries.
