Cost of revision from band to DS?

Ouch!  Sounds like I'll need to rob a bank or win the lottery to pay for it. :-(

If your weight is only 192, I doubt you will qualify for the DS anyway. To qualify you must have a BMI of 40 or more or have co-morbidity's. My BMI was 40.6 and I had hypertension and sleep apnea. The DS is big time surgery, you wouldn't want to go for it unless you're MO or have health problems like Type II Diabetes, Hypertension, Sleep Apnea etc.

This is exactly what i was wondering. thanks for telling us this,because i weigh only 200lbs myself and i wanted a revision and i was afraid i would lose too much weight afterwards. because i only want to be 150lbs.i had my gastric bypass in 2000 i weighed in at 292 ended up being 150lbs. so maybe i should look into having my gastric bypass revise so i can get more malabsorption and thats half the price of the ds revision here in illinois.which is about $7000.
