Does the surgeon blame us?

At the end of the day, the surgeons are helping us, but it's also a business.  So, regardless of what they think, they're going to help you.  I was a revision from a band to VSG.  (Almost 3 weeks out).  I started having some issues with my band, and I felt like a failure going back in there to see my doc.  His first words to me were "the band doesn't work for everyone, I am sorry you went through this and thank you for giving me a second chance to make things right."  WLS is a competitive market, so if one doctor makes you feel like poo, keep searching.  My doctor really didn't have an explanation until he did my EGD.  Then ding - hey it wasn't my fault.  But, it's your life and your decision, sometimes we have to tuck our tails between our legs and do what we can to make our lives better.

Best wishes to you!!
