Gastritis

Has anyone had problems with Gastritis while they have had a Lap Band?  If so, were you able to manage it?  My doctor is looking at removing my band and then doing a RNY.  I had the band put in 6/26/07.  I have been having stomach issues since May, but recently had a really bad bout with gastritis for a couple of weeks.  I had my gall bladder removed in February, but the pain I am having is similar to that.  I had a scope done of my stomach on 8/8/08 and that is when they found the gastritis.  The only thing that was elevated in my recent blood work was a couple of the liver proteins.  They referred me to a Gastrointestinal doctor to make sure that it isn't anything else.  Has anyone had gastritis after their RNY surgery?  I appreciate any thoughts!  ~Jen
