Anyone have these problems? Did a revision help?

Sorry to hear about your band issue. I just got revised from band to sleeve a couple of weeks ago. My band started out okay. but after about 5 months into, the doctor couldn't find my "sweet" spot. I was either voimting or gaining. I decided I could no longer live with the band and the fills. So, I got the sleeve. I choose the sleeve because, I cannot deal with dumping or malabsorption issues. As far as the psych evaluation, I was not required to do one for the revision. Check with your insurance or doc office if you are self pay. I urge you to do your research and decide what you can live with. I have a sister who lost 120 pounds with RNY 10 years ago and she has kept 110 off. That is definitely true maintenance and a lifestyle change. I pray that I will get there also.
