Finally got my date :the dark side is within sight

Well, the phone finally rang. My date is january 29thThey had trouble co ordinating the schedule of the two surgeons. Because my hernia is so big and the surgery will be open Dr. Steward wanted another surgeon to assist. They said it will be about 6 hours long. I guess I have waited this long whats another 60+ days ...sigh....I will be so glad to be switched.

I'm so happy for you!!
To be quite honest I was in surgery for my RNY 6+ hours.. I had a small complication during surgery and they didn't have the necessary equipment.. so they had to send over to a bigger hospital.
