qualifications for revision?

Does anyone know what qualifications you must meet to be considered for a revision. Is it the same as what it would be for a first time IE: 100lbs over ideal bodyweight, co-morbidities, etc.?

 It would depend on your insurance.  Each is different as far as their requirements.  Best to contact them or go to their website which usually details their requirements.

I was approved for lapband removal and revision to RNY with a BMI of 38 and 65 lbs over goal weight with no co-morbities.  I had 2 miserable failed bands and developed severe gastric reflux and a large hiatal hernia...It can be done, depends on the doctor and them knowing what to do to get insurance to approve it.
