I just found out i have a dilated jejunjejunostomy. I'm not sure what that is but it is causing me to epty my pouch very quickly. So can someone please explain it to me and tell me where this area is located in the whole RNY thing. Is this also known as a dilated stoma?

That means that the opening from the stomach to the intestine (stoma) is enlarged, as mine is/was. I say was..because my dr did a endoscopy with a schleroing agent that creates scar tissue and closes the stoma some..there are several treatments in order to close it back up to post surgery status. In some cases the stomaphyx procedure can also be done to close it...thus slowing down the digestive process.
