Why did your RNY fail?

My RNY "failed" because my pouch was made too large. I never have restriction like a normal RNY patient feels. My pouch is about the size of a grapefruit. I only lost 50lbs. Sometimes - rarely surgeons can make mistakes. I will be getting a revision in November. Out of 300 weight loss surgeries in my hospital only 2 have had this problem - lucky me! It can be fixed if that is what you choose, or you can look in to other options. I feel like I had a test run, and now I'm going to have the real thing.
