endoscopy procedure? why? preoperative.

                             

I have a lap band and had one, but I think it is normal procedure for WLS. It shows whats going on down there.

Since this is the Revision forum..when they do an endoscopy..it is to see what is going on at the moment due to the patients' complaints or if it is a new patient they need to do the Upper GI to see what a previous surgeon has done and then make decisions based on those reviews.

just to see whats going on and to make sure thee are NO ulcers
