Stomaphyx

I just had the stomaphyx on 9/18/08. I had my original rny on 8/7/03 and had lost 100 pounds. Two years ago I gained back over 50 pounds. I had 36 fasteners put in and I have lost 21 pounds. My surgeon told me that he starts at the stoma and makes that smaller and works his way up to the stomach and makes that smaller.  I had to stay in the hospital over night and the only pain that I had was the air that they put in to fill up my stomach to see eveything inside.  I had to spend one night in the hospital.  I was on clear liquids the first week and I have been on pureed foods for the past 2 1/2 weeks.  I see my surgeon on 10/21 and he will decide the next course of action.  I feel this revision and second chance have helped me greatly.
