Please could someone tell me what this revision surgery is?  I may have got it slightly wrong!!!

Hi Ruth,
Let me see if I can explain it.
It is called the extended Roux-en-y surgery.  They take down the original connection and bypass more of the intestines to a short common channel on the lower end of the intestines.

 Extended  RNY -  drastically shortened common channel ,, give your body less chance of absorbing   food, calories, fats , protein s, vitamins etc....
 
does produce weight loss if you stay away from refined carbs & SUGAR !!!
