Waiting to see if my doc will do a revision

I had gastric bypass in 2001.  Just had tests that confirmed that my pouch is abnormally large.  I have not regained a lot of weight but a revision is needed to insure my continued sucess. I hope to find out by Friday if my doc agrees. I already spoke to insurance and they will approve if the doc thinks I need it.

Good  luck to you!  Kudos on being so proactive! Sounds like you have one of the most diffuclt hurdles overcome already-insurance approval!  Congrats!

I think if your primary care doctor says you need it tightened up and your insurance approves it, most likely he will agree. those are the two most important referrals/approvals.
