Questions about Revision from LapBand to VSG Sleeve...

I am posting this on both the revision board and the lap band board:

1.  For those of you who had a lapband revised to a Slereve, did you continue to lose weight?  Did you just maintain your weight?  Or (God Forbid) gain weight?
2.  How many revision procedures of this type had your surgeon done prior to your surgery?
3.  How much time did you take off of work for this revision procedure?

1) Yes.  I tried very hard not to lose weight and was unable.

2) Many.  He is one of the main revision surgeons in MX.

3) None, I went back to work the day I got home.

The worst part of revision from band to sleeve for me is the muscles where the port was.  That was an ouchie.

If you go to the VSG board and ask you may get more answers as I remeber quite a few revisions from band to vsg
