lapband to RNY revision??
Hi Deanne
I had the band removed and had DS instead. Its going really well and I'm glad I had it done. Eating is a lot easier than with the band, it has cured my diabetes and high blood pressure, and I've already lost half of my excess weight (subject to weigh in on Saturday!) in five months. You get to eat as much fat as you want, as much protein as you can fit in, and only have to watch the carbs (and floury stuff gives you gas so you avoid that anyway). You have to take vitamins and have regular blood tests but its a small price to pay for the easy way the weight has disappeared.
Good luck with your research.

Check out the DS forum. We have many from Canada who go to Dr. Lutryskowski (sp) in Michigan for the revision to DS and have done wonderful.
