what qualifies for insuranse coverage on a revision?

My ins will cover my surgery for a RNY revision if there is "disrupton of the suture line".  Does anyone know if a very large stoma dilation is considered a disruption?   I had a stomafyx done and it didn't work probably because of the size of the stoma opening.

No, a disruption of the line (either staple or suture) means that the pouch has come undone, either completely or partially.

Mine covered my revision because of "medical necessity"

did you go from a RNY to a DS?  I was hoping just to have the stoma issue repaired but I guess that is an issue that the surgeon is best able to decide.  I have such thin hair now I am afraid what will happen if I go to the DS.
