I'ts My Birthday But No Cake For Me...

Cause my Lap Band is working so well!!!     I have absolutely no urge to eat cake today on my 48th birthday.  

This is my third birthday as a bandster, still lost over 100% of my excess weight, still below goal and still loving my life band!  Maybe tomorrow I will feel like having some cake but not today.  (Mind you I did eat cheesecake several times from Karpaty's Polish Bakery last week.)

Wishing everyone who is having or who has had weight loss surgery of any type as much success however you define it. 

This is my second time round with weight loss surgery after my previous VBG in /87 and definitely got it right this time around and with a fantastic surgeon!

Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Congratulations to you, also. I dont hear many good stories about the band.

Thanks,  here in Canada I hear a lot more successes.   I think a lot of it has to do with the aftercare provided by the clinic and surgeon IMO  .

Happy Birthday!!  When I'm losing I also don't have any desires for cake or any "bad" foods.  Thin always feels better than something tastes!  Hope you're having a great day!  And Congrats on your success - hooray!!

Thanks, so far hubby has granted me every one of my birthday wishes...1 Wendy's junior bacon cheeseburger  and he carried the vacuum downstairs after I vacuumed.  Hell what more could I ask for?  (Except maybe a quickie later if I'm not too tired.)
