Revision? / Dr. Schlesinger ?/ Medicare Ins.
Hi everyone I am new to this site. Had Rny in Jan.95
Start weight 311# down to 127#. 5'1. Kept weight off almost
13 years, now in six months I have gained 91#.
Something is not right. So I am considering a revision,
would like a DS. Has anyone used Medicare as their
primary ins? How do I go about this. PAM

I have medicare thru a HMO with Health Net. I had my revision July 2, 2008. You can call Jen at 480 419 2280. She will be happy to tell you what insurance he does take. I know my insurance is the only medicare hmo that Dr Schleinger will take. But it won't hurt to give her a call. Dr Schlesinger is a great surgeon with a great bedside manner. He is very easy to get along with and he does his own group suport meetings. His group is free to anyone. It is the 3rd Saturday of the month. I would ask Jen for more info on that. Good luck.
