United Health Care and Revisions

Does anyone who has UHC had a revision?? I see my surgeon tomorrow for my consult to go from lapband to RNY...I am praying that I get approved and this all works out!! My band was a godsend in the beginning but after my first unfill due to surgery for a hystrectomy it has been nothing but a nuisance!! I've lost lots of weight..who wouldnt when they vomit 24/7....and then of course got another unfill..gained weight....refilled...vomitted...unfilled...etc...see the pattern here? I am back to a BMI of 39, type 2 diabetic and high blood pressure...Wish me luck!!!

i have uhc and i am schuleded for my revision on sep 3rd. i was denied at first but i appealed and now they have approved me. but even though we both have uch it doesn't mean anything. it is how your policy reads and your employer decides what they want covered and what they don't. go to your appointment and let his office staff do their thing. and if you get denied appeal.

I have uhc also , I will love to know what happen .
